74 O’Rioran Street, Alexandria
Completed by Greyton in 2018 and this is an example of the use of intumescent paint sprayed directly to the steel columns with an airless gun. The product used was a Dulux WB3 applied in multiple layers to between 2000 and 4000 microns dry film thickness providing a 2 hour FRL. The final top coat was applied by others to what ever colour they chose ( in this case a Dulux mat black) subject to the manufacturers approval. The total job consisted of about 4160 litres of fire rated paint.
